1. About this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Cherry Jam SAS ("Cherry Jam", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on cherryjam.co (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally. Cherry Jam SAS, Calle Río de la Plata 1394, Montevideo, Uruguay — contact@cherryjam.co.
2. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels, and software development kits) work in comparable ways. They let a site function, remember your preferences, and understand how it is used. Cookies may be set by us ("first-party") or by third-party services we use ("third-party").
3. How we use cookies and your consent
We use a consent banner managed by Cookiebot to obtain and record your choices. When you first visit the Site, non-essential cookies (such as analytics) are not loaded until you give consent. You can accept all, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category, and you can change your decision at any time (see Section 7). Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent because the Site cannot function properly without them.
4. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to work and to remember your cookie choices. These include the cookie set by Cookiebot to store your consent, and technical cookies from our hosting and security infrastructure. Legal basis: technical and contractual necessity to provide the Site; under Article 9 of Uruguay's Law No. 18.331, these cookies do not require consent. Always active.
Preferences / functional. Enable enhanced functionality, such as the embedded Calendly scheduling tool when you choose to book a call. Legal basis: your prior, informed and explicit consent. Set only with your consent.
Statistics / analytics. Help us understand how the Site is used so we can improve it, via Google Analytics 4 and Mixpanel. Legal basis: your prior, informed and explicit consent. Loaded only with your consent.
Marketing / advertising. We do not use advertising or cross-context behavioral tracking cookies on the Site.
5. Third-party cookies and services
Some cookies are set by third-party providers that process data under their own policies:
Google Analytics 4 (Google) — statistics. See Google's privacy and cookie policies.
Mixpanel — statistics. See Mixpanel's privacy policy.
Calendly — functional (call scheduling, when used). See Calendly's privacy and cookie policies.
Cookiebot (Cybot A/S) — necessary (stores and documents your consent). See Cookiebot's privacy policy.
Content delivery networks (CDNs) — technical delivery of fonts, scripts and libraries (Google Fonts, Font Awesome). These may not set cookies but can receive your IP address when resources load.
By consenting to statistics or preferences cookies, you expressly authorize the transfer of your data to service providers located outside Uruguay and the EEA (such as the United States), which may not provide an equivalent level of data protection. Under Article 23 of Uruguay's Law No. 18.331, this international transfer takes place on the basis of your explicit consent.
6. Full list of cookies
The complete, always-current list of the cookies used on the Site — including their names, providers, purposes, and durations — is shown in the cookie declaration below, maintained automatically by Cookiebot:
7. How to manage or withdraw your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by reopening the cookie settings on the Site (for example, via the Cookiebot widget or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer). You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works.
If you are in Uruguay, you also have the rights of access, rectification, cancellation (deletion) and opposition (the "ARCO" rights) under Articles 13 to 16 of Law No. 18.331 in respect of personal data collected through cookies. You may exercise these rights by writing to contact@cherryjam.co.
If you are in the United States (for example, a California resident under the CCPA/CPRA), the cookie banner allows you to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we do not sell or share your personal information.
8. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
